Diet

We feed are dogs on tripe, rabbit, beef, chicken and  lamb with a good mixer.  We like to add any spare veg that we have had that day.  On the first meal of the day I add Wafcol to it and then the second meal i add some cod liver oil.  I like them to have a small meal in the morning and then a bigger meal about 6.30 pm.  How much I give them depends on the dog,  if it's a very active dog I give it a little more and if it's an older dog I tend to give them a little less and rather then the wafcol I just give them there cod liver oil in two parts, one in the morning and one with the last feed.

Puppies

This is a rough guide for puppies aged about 8 weeks (about the age that they go to their new homes).  Obviously all puppies are different and therefore need the diet to be adjusted depending on the puppy' s requirements. 

7am               1/4 pint of milk with one weetabix

12pm                   meat based meal with small bite mixer

5pm                    meat based meal with small bite mixer

10.30                 1/4 pint of milk
