A little about us.....
Hi we are a family run kennels based in a village just outside Bedford. Bull terriers have been in our family as far back as 1955. The first two bull terriers I remember are Suzie and Rolo owned by a close family friend Paul Stone both bull terriers were rescued dogs from Joan Kenway, and as they say the bug bit and it bit hard. We started to go to a few shows and started talking to breeders. I knew what bloodline I wanted and when a litter came up I got my first bull terrier. She was pure white and mainly from the Taipan line, sire being Taipan Maori Venture. She had a good solid pedigree on both sides with names like Kalicabar Rolling Thunder, Warbonnet Frazier, Kelsar Sweet Duke and many more. She turned out to be a real stunner, a great all rounder; good with other dogs and she loved kids but hated cats! We did a litter from her with help and advice from people who had been breeding and showing bull terriers for 20 years but even with people to offer advice your the one at 3.30 am putting the pups on there mum to feed so you know that they are getting their share. So it was abit of a shock to the system but they all turned out big, healthy pups. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the pups grow up and start to develop their own personalities but the real joy came from finding them really good homes and once you start getting the pictures back its all worth while.
We don't tend to keep a resident stud dog as the chances of you having the perfect boy that compliments your bitch is a 1 in a 100. We also believe it limits your over all quality and in my view it also can bring on health issues. We've travelled 100's of miles in the quest to use the right stud dog and we will continue to do so on every litter, why settle for second best when I can use the best dog around.
